In the title to this post, I said don't get your hopes up because the oil industry has a lock on this economy the way Paris Hilton has a lock on stupidity. That is to say, SOLID.

However, it goes to show that all the talk coming out of the mouths of politicos tied to the oil industry that "viable alternatives to petroleum are decades off" is just pure BS.
