X3 opens on May 26th, 2006

Well, it's 6 minutes to midnight and, thus six minutes to may 26th, 2006, the date that X3 a.k.a. X-men: The last stand opens. So far, the commercials I've seen for it look pretty decent. Although, let's be honest, that doesn't mean squat. However, maybe it does mean squat because there have been movies that are so bad that they can't even assemble one decent movie trailer. And when they can't pull together enough good footage for a promo, it's generally gonna suck bad.

I read Harry Knowles review of the movie. Apparently, he found it very disappointing. I also read that Harry really liked Star Wars Episode I---therefore, I take every review of his with five pounds of salt.

Here's to hoping the movie is great and not just mediocre, as was the case with over the hedge.
