A StarGate Guide along with some commentary on Stargate and Dune

I haven't had time to poke around on this site, but I'm a StarGate fan and this looks like this may be a potentially good resource for fans (note that I used words and phrases like "looks like" and "potentially" because, hey, I just don't know, as of yet).
What are my feelings about StarGate lately? Well, I've been very disappointed that the last few seasons have been abbreviated. I mean, come on less than a dozen episodes for a season? What's up with that? And, I have to admit that I preferred the Goa'uld as the primary threat to humans-dispersed-throughout-the-galaxy to the Orai (Ori, Aurai, I haven't a clue).
The Goa'uld were sort of "comical and evil" and none of their Jaffa warriors could shoot straight with those staff weapons. The Orai-Aurai-Ori-whatever, by comparison, are purely evil but without any laugh-components built in. They're a more formidable enemy, to be sure, since they actually feed on the worship of humans and their followers are galaxy conquering fanatics (if you've ever read Dune, this almost reminds me of Imperial Sardaukar--the soldier fanatics of the Padishah Emperors). But I prefer the glowing-eyes-thingy and religious fanatics hits too close to home, considering the times we live in.
Other complaints: Dammit, they're ending the show! I have to admit, the show suffered when Jack O'Neill's character left and it suffered before that when General Hammond's character left. And for a while I couldn't get used to either of their replacements, Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell (played by Ben Browder of Farscape fame -- what a wild show that was) or General Landry (played by Beau Brides, a great actor who appeared in "The Fabulous Baker Boys" and was great in the movie "Heart like a wheel"). However, similar to the phenomenon of a new Star Trek show needing time to get on pace, these new characters also needed time to get worked in properly. And, now, just when these characters are beginning to click and the show is beginning to click really good again----BAM!--show over.
Oh, here's that link I was talking about:
